Get involved

Everything we do depends on people giving their time, skills and money. Here’s how you can help.

Volunteer

Become a mentor

If you have run a business for at least two years and can give a couple of hours a month, you could make the difference between someone starting and someone giving up.

We provide training, safeguarding guidance and ongoing support. Mentors are matched with people whose business is in a field they understand, and every match is reviewed after three months.

Other ways to help

Not a business owner? You can still help

We need people with all sorts of skills, and organisations that share our aims.

Partner with us

Local employers, colleges, job centres, libraries and community groups: refer people to us, host a session or sponsor a programme.

Fundraise

Run, bake, quiz or climb something. We’ll give you a fundraising pack and cheer you on.

Corporate partnerships

We welcome partnerships with businesses that want to support local enterprise. This might be sponsoring a workshop series, offering employee volunteering, providing meeting space, or funding a mentoring programme in a particular area.

Partners receive regular impact updates and, where wanted, recognition on this site and in our reports. To talk it through, get in touch.
